Short park hunts, a gold tooth

Hello to you all!

I stopped the last two days on the way home from work for an hour each day, 2 hours, and hunted four different small park's woodchip play areas. It was slim pickins but that's the breaks I guess, I am still glad to be out there, expecially since we have rain forecasted for the next 5 days. Love swinging the detector!

My best find was a silver unicorn charm that may be sterling? It has a "S" inside a circle hallmark? My most unusual find was a small gold tooth. Found that under the swings so someone must have got kicked in the chops.

Other than that, a Mexican 50 C coin, $2.75 in clad and 51 coins.

I hope you all had better luck, go get em, show us the money!

Thanks for reading. Here's a couple shots of my finds from my 2 hours hunt time.

Smiles!

Re: Short part hunts, a gold tooth

Yo BDoo,now thats a new one!I've never heard of anyone fiding a gold tooth! That is one tiny target.Congrats on the chomper!! Bootstrap

Hey Bdoo!!
Nice finds. I'd have to say the gold tooth is your best find.
A few grams of 18K gold or higher! Nice!!

Bdoo you find the most amazing things in those wood chips. I sure wouldn't want to be the one missing that tooth. Ouch I bet that hurt. I hunt wood chips here in San Diego, Ca but have lots of competition plus the schools are all fenced in and off limits. Keep on hunting those chips. HH Ted

Nice finds,I bet someone is missing that tooth. I found a four tooth gold bridge while water detecting when I was a kid, strange finds.

OH, Scooby. Send me some of that rain! :'( It's so dry here. :-\

Nice finds!! And gold IS gold, ya know! Congrats!! Nana :)

Hey BDoo, glad to see you don't alway find rings. I like the dragonfly. Gotta take the slim pickins with the good ones I guess. I don't know how you find time to go at all with all the hours you work and having two kids to take care of. Keep up the good work.

Nice Unicorn. But I prefer your Gold find but Silver is close behind on my list.

The tooth I found was hiding in the swing-set zone too. Thanks for shearing.

Congrats on the gold! You are turning into a gold magnet, but gold isn't magnetic, LOL? HH, Mike

dentists buy those gold teeth for a few bucks
then charge us 1000s in mark up

Very productive for a couple hours. Pile of coin and dental work too!!!!!
I'm starting to get a lot of "charms" from the wood chips too...

Great finds. Glad to know that some of your parks/schools produce like mine. ;)

The gold tooth is cool. Didn't someone else find one this year? Remember reading about it when I first started Tnet. Hopefully not the same area/person. :)

I know you will have much better haul next time.

HH.

Isn't it enough that you find peoples gorgeous jewelry all the time so now you have to find their teeth??????? :P It is not like you're running out of gold or anything!
LOL

Sounds like you hunt in a TOUGH park. That might be a valuable piece of forensic evidence. The man might be interested in that. Cool though. ;)

Hi Vinn

Actually, it's my third gold tooth found,
every time, under the swings. My trusty old Garrett loves gold!
Thanks for stopping in buddy!
I am more impressed with your sweet and tiny gold find!! :)
That's a special coin you got there, congrats again!
