Short hunt yields first silver spill for me!

Finally got the nerve to ask neighbors for permission to detect and glad I did. Dug the toy gun and old mascara container first after a few mason jar lids and then got a nice tight signal on the 350 dug down and out pops Ben! Sweet first silver half ever! Recheck the hole and fish out the merc! Now I'm super excited two firsts for me! Beep along a little more and get another nice signal but it's big so figure it's a copper pipe or something and out pops the silver plated Oneida napkin holder I'm guessing?? Beep along a little more and another nice tight coin signal shaking as I dig this one and pop out a lucky lindy Michigan mutual liability insurance token. Signals dried up after that but I was happy! All this was in an open field because it's so dry here I didn't want to dig in the yard calling for rain tomorrow can't wait to see what their lawn will bring me!

Oh when I rescanned the hole and heard that sweet high tone I stood right up and did a couple nervous laps around the hole to calm my nerves for what I thought would be the inevitable disappointment of pulling a penny out of the hole, I about died when the merc popped out

Congrats x 2 for you mate. Great score on the old silvers and cool token coin. Also good on you to wait until the property owner's lawn is nice and moist before digging into it. Patches of dead dried up sod looks mighty bad in a nice green lawn. Your time will come.
