Short hunt with ctx found a 1943 us nickel and kewl keychain

WAs out for a short time today and this old beach is still going good !! Found this 1943 us nickel!! Pretty rare for Canada as well last week found a 1943 us dime ! Also this keychain that said Bali Italy on it, don't know if it's worth anything or not? How about the nickel is it rare?

I think it says "Baci" not Bali.

If the nickel has a "P" mint mark above the dome on Monticello, then it is a "war nickel", meaning that it's 35% silver.

Had a look now and there is an "S"
Not as rare?

My mistake. All with mint marks above the dome are 35% silver. Your '43 S is actually less common than the '43 P, but not really worth any more because of it.

That just squares us up, because I find quite a bit of Canadian coinage here in Michigan even though I'm 2hrs from Windsor and Sarnia.

Mostly I find KG pennies like this one.

Then there is an occasional fish scale like this one (1900 5¢).


And I've found two of these 1844 Bank of Montreal Half Penny bank tokens in the last couple years.
