Just getting better after eight weeks of being ill with the covid-19 and still a bit weak. Went to a private property where I used to live just to get some exercise and look for a little silver. I only hunted for an hour and a half since I am out of shape but turned one nice target up. After a couple pennies which were toasted I stopped digging penny signals but did get some toasty clad. Thought I'd dig a few low tones hoping for a gold ring but a couple of pull tabs and other junk ended that. Anyways I was tickled for sure to meet big Ben, always nice finding larger silver. Made my first hunt for the year memorable. I had hunted this place back in the early 1970s with my trusty Garrett BFO Master Hunter, must have missed Ben, he was only four inches down.

Wow congrats on the awesome silver what a great way to start it off! Glad you survived the Covid 19.

Congrats on surviving Covid 19, and congrats on your hunt! Welcome back!

Glad you are starting to feel better and able to get out now. Congrats on the big silver. Franklins don't turn up nearly as often as Walkers or even Barbers. Only 3 of my 16 silver halves are Franklins. That being said, I did find one last month, same date as yours, and my birth year.
