First day in over 6 Months now, I have been able to walk on my Feet,
without
feeling like the bottoms of my feet were Raw Flesh on Broken Arches & heels,
So I packed up & headed out.

Sun was Extremely Hot for the site I chose,
but did get an hour in

I can sympathize. I had to deal with plantar fasciitis. At least that only hurt when I first woke up.

Glad you're getting better.

Thanks for sharing your hunt! I've been feeling a little of that "what's the use" syndrome we all get from time to time.

I'll get over it but I gotta watch myself. One time, after I got this feeling, I hung up the detector. AND...it stayed there for better than 20 years! ;)

Neat watch cover!

HH!

Pocket watch is really cool, love the art

Neat finds Jeff.. too bad that penny wasn't a 1943 copper penny. Everytime i dig a 1942 penny i just look up at the sky and yell "Why can't it be one year laterrrrr" : )

good job.. is the pocket watch silver plated? looks like it

no it appears it was one of those overpriced, cheap, Gold colored Metal watches.
there used to be ads for on magazines.

Wow, I like the watch!

Thanks ! & by the way for those curious,
it's actually Just the Watch Back,
or face cover.
See at the 8 O'clock position the hinge location.

The rest is still there somewhere unless someone else found it already.

I was finding small shrapnel around it, including a couple gears,
but not the main part.

of course the lawn more may have sent it sailing
