in all honesty
ill be satisfied with a few/couple decades over 800
under that i will not be to happy(depending)

If MW stood by what they advertise you should know by now. How much did they pay per ounce and was it in troy or did they fake?

Ill be interested to see the outcome aswell. I have noticed that gold on ebay usually goes for spot or more so you may want to think about going that route. Ebay takes 3% lol Anyway Good Luck and HH

I recently (this month) sold 62 grams (2.015 Troy oz's Wt) of gold jewelry to Midwest Refineries. Turn around time was 10 days from shipping the gold to receiving a check from them.

Market price was $870.00, After the melt down my net was $995.15.

You need to remember they only pay you 94% after the melt down, Not 94% before the melt down. They need to extract the other alloys before a true Assay Yield is determined, Then they take their 6 percent and give you the balance of 94 percent Payable to you.

Still, A heck of allot better than a local pawn shop :)

You could have done ALOT better on ebay!

nothing wrong with that..............congrats edde

You might have done better on e-bay but MW stood by thier word as far as I can see. Congrats and thanks for sharing. :)

Selling on EBay many times can be a pain. It is always nice to get what we hope for or imagine, but rare, at least in in my life. Maybe some others are luckier.....My EX got the mine, I got the shaft.. >:(

It is still more then $700 which isn't too bad considering you had fun finding it......... ;)

Good luck and good hunting

I recently scrapped my wedding bands, and other plain rings from the '07 season, (except for the diamond rings) and got back a nice check for $2414 from Midwest. Quick turn around to. And like "Murphy's Law", Gold went much higher right after that... Oh well, Back in the water I go. Good luck.
