Got up early this morning to head over to the same spot i pulled a v nickel and 9 wheat's this year, rain came and went, but I had my peace, nothing great but I did end up with seven wheat's, oldest being a 1917s, last week I got a 1918s, that's 16 wheat's this year so far, no silver, I also got the little brass handle and some odds and ends, then I decided to hit a soccer field on the way home, got some clad and the remants of a little quartz watch, broke the 200 penny total today and reached $30 bucks in clad so far this year, hope you all have good hunts with no rain or intruders!!

Very nice, you are going to shatter your wheatie record this year. Was that from the same field I got my buttons and merc? I'm going to get out tomorrow. I really hope to get something decent, I would take 7 wheaties. Anyway, I cant wait until Thursday. We are gonna kill it!

Nice enough. I took my 8 year old with me today and all we could manage was clad. About $1.08 in total. 1- quarter, 5- dimes, 2- nickels and 23- pennies. None older than 1979. I'd take 7- wheaties over that anyday. HH

I keep telling myself that, I think my dfx is allergic to Frickin Silver coins!!

7 wheaties...one for each day of the week! 30 bucks already...I'm going to have to count mine I just through it in a jar and keep getting up.

I try to set a goal of a hundred bucks a year, ten more years and the dfx paid itself off....
