Today was another off day for me with school break. I haven't got out as much as I should have this break but I got up early and did some door knocking. The first house I stopped at I got permission and got to work. This yard was nice and big and had plenty of signals. I got the 1883, 1904x2 and 1903 Indians before I even found silver. First silver I got was a nice 12-45 and it was a 1946 Rosie. Next silver up was the 1964 Rosie that I smacked the crap out of. Last keeper of the yard was the beautiful 1913 Barber dime that was 2 ft from a 200 yr old maple tree. Took 20 mins to get it.

Next house, which was 1/2 mile away was another good yard. This yard literally had pre-1925 wheats every 3 or 4 feet and drove me nuts. The first find was a sweet silver spill. I got a nice 12-46 on the ctx and found a 1960 rosie. I covered the hole back up and rescanned. Another 12-46. Opened the plug back up and there was a wheatie sandwich with a 1953 Washington and a 1960 Washington as the buns. Since the owner had nothing better to do than watch every hole I dug for 4 hours I gave him the 1953. Next up was a nice 12-13 which was a V nickel spill. I kept the worn 1897 V and he took a pretty nice 1912 V. The Indians were coming in about once an hour. I ended up getting 1898, 1901, 1903 and 1907 Indians there. Last target of the day was once again beside a monster tree. It ended up being a real nice 1912 Barber Dime. Felt like deja vu at the second house. HH ALL!!
