Last friday I took my daughter and a friend to a new site where a log house was built in the early 1800's. I found this Seminole Indian Wars button which dates to around 1820. My first pre civil war button which is going into my new display cabinet I built for all my finds! Also found this 1864 2 cent piece down the road from this log house.

Nice finds but even better sharing them with your daughter (and building memories) lliebsch. Thanks for sharing...

Very nice finds.Congrats.HH.

The finds and display are looking great. Way to preserve some history.

The door knobs on the display case my daughter brooke found. I wanted it to look old so I sued some finds she found to make it perfect! And perfect is an understatement!

My 10 year old daughter would have a heart attach if she ever found stuff like this. That's awesome that you got to share finding these with yours.

My daughter loves finding old stuff and football. Both are her life. She is the quarterback for her football team in Pop Warner. She makes me so proud! Here is a photo of her in the pocket backed up in their end zone passing the ball and one of her running the ball. She is the one with long hair. LOL
