CopperCrazy, lissson. Ask for dime wrappers when you go into the bank, they always have them and they are always free. if you re-roll the MWR-with the MWR wrapper, you have a risk of being cut badly, since the only real way to unroll them and reroll them is with a razor. Then you wasted that 1k on medical bills if you got cut.

Plus, if you screw-up on re-wrapping a machine wrapped wrapper, you're screwed if you dont have any CWR. also if you insist on doing the MWR method, I suggest writing on the wrapper SILVER FREE so if anyone picks them up they know not even to look.

Thanks, I'm going to buy a 1000ct box of dime wrappers and ask for them every time I pick up and dump I'll mark them with a sharpie line. Writing "silver free" on every roll is a little time consuming.

I don't advocate writing anything on them that references silver.

Definitely pick up dime wrappers every time you're at a bank getting pennies. I don't particularly recommend asking for dime wrappers when you're buying dimes...

Personally, I save all the wrappers from the CWR's I get, at least the ones that can be reused. I store them in the boxes the MWR's came in; I can fit about 600 or so wrappers to the box. Never know when you're going to need them, and you can always sell them.

Dime roll hunting for profit seems ridiculous. The only way to make it worth one's time would be to pickup a large single order, and dump over the counter. Otherwise, it's cheaper to buy silver dimes outright.

Used to be a time they thought you crazy for searching dimes. Nowadays, everyone's crazy.

I would have to disagree. I believe that I could easily average 1 silver per box, 2 boxes per pick up bank, 4 pick up banks, and 5 dump banks. I can go out and use half a gallon of gas the whole day and get through it all with 8 silver dimes. I would probably be better do pennies, but I want to get 250 silver dimes this year just because I think it would be cool.

I thinks its foolish to rule out CWR of dimes or any denominations for that matter. Every single one of my scores, both dimes and halves, has been CWR, Sure the pennies in dime rolls and the dimes in quarter rolls is annoying, but when you make a big score you will suddenly forget all about those shortages.

Yeah, I kind of agree. Actually, the majority of my silver finds have been from CWR

If you buy a box from Costco kine it's only about 3-4 bucks I think

My opinion: Will take CWRs anytime over MWR. Sell the WAMs. They will only go down in price.
