Hey all! Just looking for a little help. I have about 100 lbs of copper wire all stripped down sitting in some buckets at my house.(been working on it for a while). I see copper is up there pretty high right now so I was wondering if I should chance hanging on to it or just sell now. All input is appreciated. Thanks

my friend just took some copper in today.....he made 800 some dollars. He left the reciept in his dads truck so and will tell me what he got per lb and how much he had. He was very surprised he got that much. It seems like prices are going up here in Indiana. He took his to the Rochester, IN scrap yard. Not sure how prices here compare to yours in MI. I will post more when he tells me more. Good day

I scrap old appliances and am hanging on to the copper (tubing and stripped wire) right now. I will sell the unstripped wire though when I get enough together, along with all the tin, aluminum, etc. Copper is the only thing I am hanging on to right now, I just think it is going to go up. Nothing to base it on, just a gut feeling.
