Second trip's diggins from ferry crossing....
Well I went back down to the spot I hunted yesterday that gave up all the CW bullets and relics. (first post was "todays diggins") I managed to get another pretty good pile of lead and a few brass items:
I found most of an old oil lamp, a harmonica reed, and a sash buckle mixed in with all the bullets. Seems that most of the bullets are .58 minies and Williams cleaners, with a few different pistol rounds, I also found two fired Spencer carbine bullets in with all the minies and cleaners. All these bullets were probably fired by Union troops from across the river as the side I am on was held by the Confederates.
