drat!

Even though the last time I detected at Stinson Beach I vowed I'd never go back there to detect again, I decided today that I'd try it at low tide tomorrow and try to get in the water if the waves and surf allowed. Usually it's just way too powerful of a sucking wave motion, so I've never actually been in the water at Stinson. Besides, the water there is arctic cold, and I don't have any wet suit clothing.

Oh well, I may still try hitting it at low tide tomorrow and see if I can at least get in ankle deep.

The most popular section of Stinson Beach which is directly in front of all of the parking lots is a Federal park, so detecting is prohibited. You have to stay down on the northern end of the beach in front of the houses, and I've been pretty much skunked every time I've been there. And I swear that none of my detectors seem to operate properly there at Stinson beach, regardless of whether I'm on the dry sand or the wet sand.

I'll post any results tomorrow.
