Second Seated In A Week

I went out last week with my buddy Micah but we were having a tough time finding a place to go. We finally got permission to hunt at an old house but it only turned up one old wheatie and a WWII era German Nazi 50 Reichspfennig coin. We left there and went to an old school yard and wasn't having much luck there as well. Just about the time we had to leave I got a good signal thinking it would be another wheatie, but was surprised to see a very thin silver dime in the hole. I was even more surprised to see it was a Seated Dime, my very first Seated dime, its paper thin but you can see the date of 1887.
Tuesday this week I got permission to hunt a yard that had an old house on it, but burned down years ago. The place is loaded with iron but I was pulling some good coins from along the edges. That day I got two Mercs, a V Nickel and a nice 1887 Indian Head. Also got some CW lead and a WWI Veteran's Victory Lapel Pin. So yesterday after work and a the rain we got I went back to the lot for a short hunt. I wasn't there very long when I got a good signal. I was hoping for an another Indian Head but was excited to see the tiny 1841 Seated Half Dime in the hole. I still can't believe it. I'm always daydreaming of finding Seated coins and I got lucky enough to dig two in the last week! HH David

Thanks! Yeah I enjoy finding the holed coins. I think it adds to the character of it. I have a few that are holed. I hope you find one this season as well. GL & HH!
