Second Metal Detector?!

Have a Legend now and love it but can’t help but wondering if a Deus 2 or something else would find things I miss with my Legend. Wondering what everyone thinks that have used a Legend and a Deus2 or any other comparisons to the Legend. Thanks in advance.

I just have the D2 so I can't compare.
But I will say it is a real good machine.
I have 2 yrs on it now so I am getting comfortable with it.

I have the Xp Deus 2 now for about 2 years. Never used the legend, but heard many good things about it. What type of detecting do you do? Coins, relics, totlots, beach? What city in GA are you located? I am in North Atlanta in Peachtree Corners.

Here is my FREE advice. Go back to areas that you have already crushed with the Legend. Put it in a mode or setting you don't usually use. Proceed to GRID, SLOWLY, an area 30-feet long, by 10-feet wide. Really listen hard while overlapping your swings.

The cool things you find in that one 10'x30' patch is what you might have found with a Deus or Manticore. More than 90% of the time it is the detectorist, not the detector, that makes a difference.

East of Athens. Mostly relic hunting. Like walking the woods and trying to find old homesites with not much of anything left showing. Hard to find but when you find one it’s usually flat buttons and a few coins. Like finding the really old stuff. Want another detector just so I have a backup and trying to decide what to buy. I had an AT Pro and then purchased an 800. All it did was confuse me going from one detector to another. I think you should purchase a good quality machine and stick with it.
