Second hunt , same site large coppers !

1-26-12 Hi TN th 'ers :icon_sunny: near 50 degrees :icon_scratch: This Jan. the weather has been mild and no frozen ground . :dontknow: Somewhere down the road I am sure we'll pay. Three hours the pounded out cellar hole gave up two more coppers and a few buttons , a good day for sure . 1807 & 1787 KG III First hunt at the same site two coppers and a bust dime . This place has been picked over . I have been taking my time , moderate overlapping sweeps . Seems like it never fails to get some deep coins. KG III was found first . An hour later I found the draped bust {not found in the same hole} . The one picture is misleading ;D sorry . Check out the very old , very huge oak , that fell into the hole . The roots on it are incredible but it still was blown over many years ago . Last pic is from last week , same cellar hole . Two hunts = 4 coppers for January ... for Jan. :dontknow: :icon_scratch: ??? at this time last year there was snow here ::) . Thanks for stopping in , Best 2012 Hunting , dawg

Re: Second hunt , same site large coppers !

Nice old LCs Dawg, congrats :icon_thumright: , good job taking advantage of the decent weather! Last post you asked about the weather up north, it's the same from what I see down there maybe a inch or two of some ground frost in areas (with no sun) but easy to break through. My problem lately is the early sunset as I try to hit a spot after work but that's getting better as the days go on, HH :headbang: !

ps: nice site pics as usual!
