Second ever Walking Liberty

Went out alone for a quick afternoon hunt and I didnt even dig one quarter, these are all the good targets I pulled.. I did however find something even better, a 1920 Walker. It has been over a year or two since I found my first one. Of all places it lay less than 200 yards from my house in the field. Its crazy how Ive missed it so many hunts. I didnt even expect it and I was digging too hastily, and I scratched it Check my post from this morning and I would have to call that a day. Silver and gold in one day, feels like the olympics of metal detecting. HH All

I did a little research on the spoon using the markings i found on it. here is what i found. Its a 1881 Rogers CHIPPENDALE aka ADAIR Serving Spoon Tablespoon Oneida 1919 A1 . puts it around the same time as the walkers. neat. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1881-Rogers...Spoon-Tablespoon-Oneida-1919-A1-/130637676419

Ryan, 1920!!! Yesss. There's some history there. Is that a silver spoon? That might be the spot of an old homestead worth more investigation.
