I found my second ever point just a few days after the first. This dirt road seems to be a real hot spot. Lots of reduction flakes, some small points so far. It's in a flat river bottom right beside 2 streams, I will keep looking.

This point is really pretty and well made especially considering how small it is. Any thoughts? Probably for a bird or squirrel?

You may have found the base to a Camp Creek. I ruled out some of the more common types (Yadkin, Madison) with the same outline because that one appears to have an elliptical cross section rather than flat and not so much basal concavity. Only my opinion.

A base to a triangular point… small but deadly, a kill shot, would drop a bison…. Many types fit that form… add the location(state) found, goes a long way for a I.d….. half a point, one can only speculate…
