Had a great time detecting/panning Yesterday and this morning! Found some gold panning, a seated silver quarter, and some native copper nuggets, one of them being pretty big! I was bummed out i had some mercury in my gold pan.... but at least im finding gold with it!!! :tongue3: Thanks for looking!!

LOL! I guess they are kinda creepy lookin'! They are buttons! I think its queen Victoria's bust on them, since she was popular in the time period of the stuff ive been finding in that spot... No markings on the back to help identify for sure, just the shanks.

Its not a token actually... i think it may have been a cufflink or pin, it actually says: "Best in the West, Butte" on the back it says "Palmer Advertising Service Butte" Still doing some research on it..... Here is a pic of the back, sorry the lettering is really tiny!

Gorgeous rugged land you live in! And you're definitely KICKING BUTTE with your awesome finds. I enjoyed looking at all of them, harmonica included. Andi
