That quarter is awesome! Way to go!

That is an amazing and in great shape seated quarter. Most of those I dug had quite some use.

Wish out quick hunts resulted in silver that fast!!! Sweet seated!!!

Open space land

Nice piece of silver that one is, got to like the short hunts.

I've never heard of this term before so what is "Open space land"? We have crown land, and public property which the general public has access to and can use.

Thanks guys,i wasnt expecting much but i aleast wanted to give it a try since it was an hour from my home. Hey pepperj, A space is any open piece of land that is undeveloped ~~~has no buildings or other built structures~~and is accessible to the public (unless) it has no trespassing signs on it due to mostly leasing or hunting of the land but this one had none.My experience is that every open space land I have been to always has some structure or colonial era deep inside somewhere,it's one of my favorite place to hunt.

Thanks for the reply and the explanation it's opened up my eyes to what to look for.
So if a piece of land has no building or other built structures and no posted signage it's open to the public and to hunt on?

Beautiful seated quarter! Congrats

Congrats, that's a really nice one

In new jersey,Yes!!! The hunters and quad riders/hikers etc use it also.Always check the area because it could be off limits to due hunting permits only or persevere land which means do not take anything of nature home.If you not sure call the town and ask them.

Nice spoon relic! :occasion14:
