All right! It took a while but I am now up to 20 seated half dollar finds. That's a lot of walking in the woods and a lot of itching from the poison oak that seems to grow all around the seated coins around here. I've found 11 other seated coins (half dimes, dimes and quarters) in my detecting "career". Each one was a blast to find! Seems like a lot but I've been detecting for 35 years. :laughing7:

Included pictures of some of the other finds including the front portion of a cute little powder flask and a suspender buckle of some sort with a date of April 20 1875. I like old shotgun shells so I included a pic of that as well since it was all found the same day.

Thanks for looking!

Holy crap Winslow... Not only is this Seated half a thing of beauty, but also a remarkable milestone in what sounds like a most remarkable treasure hunting career. I found my first ( and only) Seated half last year, and it was pretty much the highlight of the season. You sir are a metal detecting Master!

Beautiful coin and excellent photos! I'm only up to 4 Seated Halves in getting close to 30 years so you're doing great!

Congrats!

You guys out west find seated halves and gold coins like we find large coppers back east. Ridiculous. Ive found a bunch of seated(mostly on one site) but those folks werent high rollers dropping halves

Well...........not really, I think what we DO find more of would be the San Francisco Mint mark.

You have had one hellava career mate. Awesome Seated Half with arrows & rays. A few choice old relics only add to one fine adventure into the woods. Well done!

Very nice looking Seated half!

Steve
