Returned to the park trail project the past two nights. Each day they have been grading it and stirring up new treasure! Tonight 15 feet from the car it hit an 1887 seated!

Then I had to return home for a while.....

When I returned I spotted an orange-carrot on the dirt of edge of the path. Whoever lost it ( I could see their footprints) missed 2 V nickels and a Merc! I imagine they found something sweet and peeled out leaving the pin-pointer (and a couple pieces of trash) in their excitement but who knows.

Last night I found another V, an Indian and a luggage tag!

Thanks for looking!

Nice finds. That's why I bungie my carrot to my trash bucket :-)

Vice old silver and V nickels...those usually don't come out of the ground in too great of condition. I remember a hunt I had done where I lost my pin pointer early on and after swinging through the brush for quite a while with no good signals to dig....I spent the next hour looking for the pointer. I didn't stop till I found it.

You found a real hot spot - congrats on the great finds !

Good Hunting !

Great finds! That 1904 V is in exceptional condition to have come out of the ground.

Great finds! Those are a couple of the best looking V-nickels I've see posted!

Nice! They just made plans to lay some new trails near me, I feel like a stalker slowly rolling by waiting for them to start clearing.
