Searched box 9 & 10 today half's

we searched box 9 & 10 half dollars

box 9 we found nothing

box 10

1 - 1967

1 - 1983 missing FG Designers initials

also we found 1 - 1981 missing FG Designers initials < what is this worth

also we found one 1973 this thing is all silver looks like a mirror think maybe it was diped in something
silver on the edges too, I was thinking of scratching the edge to see if it was diped it

If you truly think its silver take it to a jeweler and have him/her weigh it.

does the 1973 half have a S mintmark? if so, its a silver proof.

no there is no s mark on it
I think it was just a coin that was plated by someone or something
after looking at the coin I can see on the back there are some large spots that are not a silver color almost like paint chips are missing and under that it is a lite gold color

I just scraped the edge of that 1/2 dollar its silver I think only other way would be to scratch it on the side, think I will just keep it with the others until I find a good way to check it out
