One of my better finds in October while detecting the local German fields with two detector friends visiting from the states. A nice seal matrix around 400 years old. Read up on how to get a nice stamp so I dropped some transparent wax on a piece of glass and stamped it, several times I might add. Shined a light through and was able to get a good image. Here?s the seal.

The stamp, upper is a man holding an arrow in his right hand, initials ?M&R? to the left and right of his torso. Below is a coat of arms, a smaller duplicate man in the coat of arms. HH, Mike
