Went back to the "Hollow" yesterday, the same area where we think they is (may have been) a wreck to see if the swells from Bertha shifted anything around.
It was good to find an uncovered, fully intact bottle! very fragile with hairline cracks. not sure how much longer this would have lasted being exposed on the seabed 60ft down
I just love the "curvy" lines of handmade glass!
It even seems to have the remains of the cork? (maybe just sea debris though!)
Found the usual assortment of shot and nails as well as a weird "hammer" shaped thing - will see how it cleans up today!
Found two buttons too - shame no markings are visible and the clasps have eroded away, but it gives added evidence to what's possibly down there!
