sea hunter loose shaft

Is there any way to tighten the arm cuff and the shaft joints when the sea hunter is used in the long shaft config. Seems to be a lot of play. Any thoughts or remedies would be appreciated.

Well, the cannibalized look involves electrical tape or duct-tape. Wrap the end and reinsert it into the female shaft end.

As for the cuff. I just took two hands and squeezed it smaller.
