Script Error

Well, I'm pretty confident that the problem has been fixed by a simple task. On Firefox I went to "Add-ons" at the bottom of the screen. Then to "Plug-ins" and changed the option next to "Shockwave Flash" to ask to activate and I haven't had a problem in over a week.
I know it worked because I got a box twice below my task bar saying that flash player was blocked and gave me the option to allow or keep blocking which did not interfere or bog down my computer.
This happened on a site that was full of ads. Previous to my changes I was getting "script error" almost daily.
If you do not see me post here again, then that means I haven't experienced the problem again.
Cheers.

I will give that a try.

OK. Since I switched to "Ask to Activate" on the shockwave plug-in I haven't had any more problems. I still wonder why it only affects this website?

Make sure shockwave is up to date also.
It is. I only have this problem on this website. Since disabling shockwave everything seems to be OK. What is shockwave used for? I am not very computer literate.

Had the same issue and changing the option in Shockwave fixed it. Good job, Muddyhandz!

it's some of the advertising, what works for me in Firefox is to turn off Flash
go to add-ons and change it to never activate
videos will still play using html5 on Tnet and youtube
I can turn it back on like for the news channel then back off when I'm done

Muddyhandz - thanks for your advice! If I don't come back here and post anything, that fixed the problem.
