I *think* I know what this is, as the title suggests... but is there any way to figure out if it is genuine or not? Might anyone shed any light on this piece? The design appears to have been etched in, and then wiped with ink.

dont know if it ie real or fake but heres one my freind had appraised by christies in ny for $3000-$6000
