It’s rare to have thawed ground on Dec 18th in my area. Decided to swing a little. Not much to show, but you can’t win if you don’t play; I gave it a shot.
2 nails, a piece of iron slag, a gusseted pc of iron with “Y549” on it and the nail with the T-head (far right).
That nail looks familiar, but it’s purpose eludes me. I keep thinking it’s used in upholstery work, but I may be way off with that guess. Any ideas?
