Scovill Mfg Co #2 Queen Anne Burner Parts

I found these oil lamp parts last week on vacation. The thumb wheel is marked "SCOVILL MFG CO" & "MADE IN U.S.A." (approx. 1/2" in diameter -- there is no patent date). In the dirt with the parts were these four seemingly fragile "arrow" parts -- three were intact when recovered - (Note to self: do not try to bend anything back in shape again!!! ). I have never seen these before...I'm assuming they were part of the lamp, though I can't imagine what they were for. Any ideas? Thanks for any help!!

Thanks BigCypressHunter!! I see the burner right there on that page: #2 Queen Anne Burner ...... looks like a date range of 1844 - 1920 Anyone have a more definitive date as to when these were manufactured? I'll clean the thumbwheel and try to scan it as the typeface they used might give an indication of age. I am trying to date a structure in the area of this find. Oddly enough this is the same site that I found my oldest coin two years ago: a 1623 Spanish Marevedis Cob.
