Any information is appreciated. Seems to be a million versions of these eagle buttons out there. Unfortunately the back is toast but the front is in pretty good shape. Thanks for the help.

I’m no expert but the back appears to be iron which indicates to me that it’s more modernish.

Eagle facing left...hmmmm. Where are you located? I wouldn’t be surprised if this were older military. If you were NE USA I would say probably older on first guess, but maybe civil war era?

Normally the steel backs point to a 20th C blazer/fashion button. Plus the sharpness/quality of the design is a pointer as well.
