Managed to get out today for the first time in sometime. Dusted off the ctx,charged the battery and headed out to a familiar spot to try my luck. Did about 3 hrs of detecting. I tell ya I felt pretty lucky when the first signal I dug was this....
1934 J nickle and there was still more signals in the hole....
Found this 1932 Canadian dime hiding in the same hole...
Ended up with the 1934 J Nickle,1932 Canadian Dime and a couple old king george pennys from the 30's,all from the same hole. As you can see the penny's were very crusty at the time. Also manged another J nickle out of the same area...
A 1927 J Nickle in a bit worse shape then the 1934 one....
Cleaned up 1934 Nickle and 1932 Dime...
and here are the older penny's I found. All oldies. Didn't find any clad at all.
