I got a call from a teller that I had given my cell number to.She said someone had turned in a collection of old dollar coins. So I went down there expecting them to be the clad dollars out of the 70's and early 80's,boy I was wrong!!!!! :o. I got 30 Canadian silver dollars and 3 American silver dollars all for face value! @#$% me! The oldest one is 1896. ;D.I think I should buy her some flowers or something

All the Canadian I got today are common dates. The year to get is 1948.Its worth some $$$

That is the biggest silver dollar find that I think I have ever seen on this forum. Congrats. Not an easy find at all. I told you there is some great stuff in Canada. Rich you are close enough that you could do it without breaking the bank. I am a little too far. Would love to do it though.

That's an awesome find! When bank tellers call and say that they have "silver dollars", it's usually Ikes.

Excellent find!! I'd say that flowers and some high quality chocolates are definitely in order.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck
