Went out the yesterday for the first time in a while. A good friend took me to a couple new places and one was an older house but nothing that had that "look" that makes you say "man, I gotta hit that house one day". Anyway, we started and I found some clad. I then got a good signal and thought I hit something good but it turned out to be an aluminum siding piece. So two feet over I had the same signal, I actually walked away thinking it was the same thing then went back because better judgment came over me. Thats when I found my first wheatie, then another and a couple more. Then I really focused on that area. My AT Pro gave me a really higher than normal number for a coin and since I hadnt found any silver with it as of yet I wasnt sure what it might be. I dug the plug and out comes this shiny quarter. I was so excited. So I really focused on the at this point and about two feet away I had another high number and it was a solid signal. Dug it up and separated the dirt and look what I found.....a walking liberty half. Both 1941. I also found two 1942 Jefferson Nickels. No pix of them.
thanks and enjoy

The Walking Liberty is one of the prettiest coins ever minted. Nice find! :icon_thumright:
