It's crazy how many I find in elementary schools . They are not just found in the bad side of town .

dang! that's a lot of really nice finds

Very impressive and inspiring as well. Thanks for posting.

Nice finds. A lot of silver . Down here in SoCal we find a lot of bullets, casings, and discharged lead. Amazing all at schools. Makes ya wonder if they are teaching firearms 101. HH GFP

Man thats a lot of loot!

Wow, that is why we aerate school lawns! I see three badges, the Wells Fargo star is a fantasy badge, the Special Police is a generic badge but used for official purposes by security companies, but...the oxidized old special police star is the prize. Does it say anything else on the face, does it have a hallmark and what kind of pin does that beauty have? :hello2:Subterranean

The Bust dime was on a chain as a neck less . I got very lucky on that find ! The one Seated half was found at 7 inches right at home plate of a baseball field !
Thanks , Glen

Awesome show of relics. Congratulations on many successful hunts and here's looking to many, many more. HH

Hi Glen, This old Special Police star has all the indicators of being made locally too, either by the Irvine & Jachens company out of San Francisco, or the Ed Jones Company out of Oakland. The dingbat or "_._" mark on the front was used by I&J on many of their generic badges. The findings (pin and catch) are gone but they were probably close to what is used today, known as a "Burgess" set up. This badge could date from the teens to the 1950's. What a great find! Sub

That's a lot of good fines and from a school way to go, I find a lot of bullet casing at the schools around here too. Good Hunting!!!

Love my M-6, it's a very good machine. Nice finds, I like that you found a seated, they're tough to find in Montana also. Happy hunting and keep that M-6 swinging...

WOW........great stuff.......liked the badge
