Nice find I find quite a few fuse parts. Just curious how can you tell it is a Schenkel?

Well unfortunately the top that would have been marked Schenkel with the patent date was blown off, but you can tell by the beveled opening on the bottom, it is different than the opening you find on other fuses.

I think I have have only one whole fuse. Any idea when the Civil war relic show will be in Dalton,Ga?

It was on Feb 3rd & 4th , I usually ask myself & others about this time of year "Now when is the Dalton Show"?

The Marietta Show is in August & I hear there will be a Chattanooga Show but I can not recall when :icon_scratch:.

BTW .
I have Dug only 1 complete Fuse as well. :icon_thumleft:

Nice find 'D' .
I never hunted that far South. except Florida Beaches.

This was down close to the Flynt River. They were doing some construction, and for a little while we were finding a few things.
