Here is a point I found about 6 months ago and I thought it was quartz. But here while Back Atlantis posted some material just like this. Im not sure what it is but any help on id of point and material is appreciated.

Looks like quartz with impurities to me, I have some similar.
Its difficult to tell by pic alone though.
