saw on tv lastnight

They had to. People are cancelling their hotel reservations even though nothing has showed up on the beaches yet (sorry to have to emphasize the "yet").

No reason for people to stay away until they need to.

Come to Arizona where the sky is allways blue an we have no oil on our beaches .

Very True lol :laughing9:

hey now we have water ......it comes in bottles lol :laughing9:

I liked prospecting in Az., but let me tell you the sky is not always blue. I have seen dust storms there so bad you could not see your hand in front of your face! And at 104F, that's like being sand blasted!

free suntan "oil" with every beach stay on the west coast of florida !!! :P BP SUCKS

You notice there is little effort going into actually stopping the oil flow BP has a pipe attached and is getting it's oil out.
They could stop the leak, but to do this would stop them from getting oil from the well.
They could pump down a coagulating chemical that would plug the well.
If that failed the GOV. could lower one of their bunker buster bombs, without the explosive head and fire it down the pipe. This would plug it permanently!

Come on up to Washington state beaches. We have so much rain that it even scares the sharkes away. No oil, no sharkes, no sun and nobody up here to trash our beaches.

I love it when a plan comes together. The sun does come out once in a while. It's the best ten minutes of the day.

I remember that day Seamus.
Wasn't it back in '73 or '74 ?
We had rumors of it down here in Oregon but hardly believed it.

Grey

'73 '75 and '99 The sun would hit the water and the glare evaporated enough of it to cause it to rain and wash the beaches. No more oil slick, no more sharks(lack of sun to draw their attention) and no more people on the beach to trash it.

And no treasure on the beaches left by people!

And all of the illegals will be going to Mexifornia at the begining of July :hello2: :tongue3: :wav:

I visited the beaches of Seattle one summer and no one was in the water. The water temp was about 70 degrees and you turned blue after about ten minutes. I tried wading and my toes cramped! Monty
