I would like to thank deserdog for this info.
It may be common knowledge but it's new to me.
There's a thread on ebay forum, talking about shipping packages. I thought I would post in GD, seeing it's a more widely read forum.
This is good info for anyone who ships.

There's a big difference in costs between commercial and retail shipping.
Retail shipping costs are out of order. Retail is nearly twice the cost of commercial.
So how does a small shipper get commercial rates ?

For example:
Cost me $20.00 at the post office to send my 800 back to Minelab, a few weeks ago.
Thru pirate ship, it would have cost $9.12 for priority.
The money I would have saved would have put enough gas in my tank for another trip to the beach for junk jewelry.
Whether you ship a lot or a little, it's worth looking into this site.
