I got back out to our silver spot. Had a really good day, with in the first 5 minutes I pulled out a seated and Canadian quarter in the same hole with a big old nail. Then I wandered around and found some thimbles, Indians, and a v nickel. Then I went back to the area I started in and found 2 more seated quarters. All the seated quarters were at like 9-12 inches. Thanks for checking it out.

While everybody is talking about the "3 Seated quarters" please allow me to elevate the stature of the 1 Canadian Quarter of Queen Victoria ! This is a major find as well - don't take my word for it - look up the values for these even in lousey condition ! I'm not dissing on the Seated quarters X 3 - that is huge - just trying to inform a bit with regard to the Vickie Quarter .

Man what a killer hunt! I couldn’t imagine getting 3 Seated quarters and an old Canadian quarter all in one hunt like that. You got one awesome spot! Keep it up!

don't discount the 1872 canadian quarter , most wont ever find one three seated quarters and a vicky ...thats gonna be a hard one to beat . on the way to the site we talked about not finding many quarters hmmmm. i think we should talk about halves and gold today..I was using tp's 800 and didn't find one thing , the 800 is a little different than i am use to but I won't give up were going back today ...

Congrats on the seateds, maybe the site was a fairground or picnic grove. In 16 years detecting, I have found only one seated quarter.

Well done I find one per year if I'm lucky lol

Wow!!! That’s a beautiful group of silvers there. Quite a lot of history. The Canadian is a nice twist and the Indians are great too. Way to go!!

Thanks everyone, on my way out again. Wish me luck

Great finds,

That's a fantastic day. Most hunters don't find one seated quarter in there career.
