Sash buckle and S tag

Back to early mill site hit on this sash first thing. It's almost ready to break apart. The tag or pendant has a defined S on it. It had a small loop on outer hole but it's gone after getting it back to shop at work. Silver dime.

Anyone want to take a stab at the S tag, I thought it might be dog tag or key tag but I may be wrong

A 1952 Rosie. The year a republican (Eisenhower) was elected after 20 yrs of Roosevelt and Truman. A very nice Eisenhower tribute coin!👍🏻
