I haven’t posted in a while, i miss the app. Anyway, I took my new Deus 2 out to my honey hole on Sunday. I have had great luck at this location finding gold and silver jewelry, but nothing extraordinary. Suffice to say when this big boy was staring back at me in the scoop, my first thought was it was a fake. It was heavy though. Couldn’t see clear markings with my eyes. Anyhoo, put it in my pocket and went back to work. Finished up and headed to another spot. While in the car I zoomed in with my camera phone and saw 14k! Woot! Easily my best find to date. The sapphire has imperfections, so I feel like it’s legit. Had a great day with additional silver finds (wedding band, silver child’s ring, two silver bracelets, pandora bracelet with 2 charms, silver hoop earrings - not pictured) and a small 10k square earring.
