The San Larenzo River flows into the ocean by the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. A couple of weeks ago, we had a big rain storm which washed away alot of the sand by the beach boardwalk. The sand was moved to cover the the washout, so this left the beach a few feet lower of sand. Todays hunt found our first 1906 V nickel! Also a horseshow down about 10"
Here is some of our finds. Also included is some seaglass from another beach. The little steel ring, rang in at overload on the MXT! The day was beautiful after the 4 day rain and lightning/thunder storm. It was good to get out and so many people today. The pic shows a belly button ring, a car, another wrap ring, an old spinner, can slaw that rang up at 99 on the AT Pro...lol, also a silver plated cross, a key chain....a beautiful day and some fun treasures! I'll post another pic of the V nickel after I try to clean it up some.
Thanks for looking and happy hunting!
