Sandman bought a new waterproof camera for better Beach pics

I broke down and bought a new Olympus waterproof camera for better beach pics. The old Canon Powershot isn't waterproof and it also twice as big. Now what I really need is a waterproof cell phone that takes good pictures at the beach too.

Does anyone else besides Max carry a great beach camera for the pics of finds and Surf Bunnies?

I also have the OLYMPUS 770,

Carrie it in fresh water all the time. However, the manual is the SIZE of a Chicago phone book!

Have my cell phone in a Pelican box.

Yeah Sandman, I recently bought the Olympus 850 SW I love it, great underwater pics to. And I don't want anyone to call me while in the surf

Yeah, the Olympus 850 SW is the one I have too.

I once took some nice pics of a guy an his gal "playing around" by the buoy while I was diving only I forgot they were in the camera when I got the film developed and I never saw the prints cause they were X rated.

hey sandman , i know a gye that has a lot of money , dont know if that has any thing to do with this but he had a waterprof
cell phone , i dont know where he got it but he droped it in the water and it still worked.

What kind of price range on this camera? I managed to break both of my cameras last year in Florida and all my underwater pictures of Seahunter at Jupiter and the 1715 fleet were ruined. And the kicker was I didn't even know till I got the film developed back here in Missouri and they go ahhhh the cameras are damaged and there is no pictures to develop. All I got was a few pictures from a third camera I had.
