REJECT TRAY FIND: Franklin Mint .925 Silver mini Abe Linconol Coin!

I7Ss3MEh.jpg

I found it on the floor by the reject tray yesterday evening. It is much smaller than a dime, and a tad bit thicker as well. The edge has that special silvery luster, but google gave me nothing. Upon more searching, I found out it was part of a 36 coin Franklin Mint set, and is .925 silver. Not bad!

It has Lincoln on the face (as shown), and a tale side sort of copies the design of the back of a silver eagle.

wow, thats a small coin. FDR looks like he's hungry, I'd give the two coins some space if you know what I'm saying

If it was bigger, you could try the sound test for Ag.

doesnt look silver to me
prolly a private token

Need a better picture. Use the macro (flower) feature on your camera.

I just found out what it is. It actually is sterling silver!

It is part of a Franklin Mint Presidential Mini-Coin Set. It is one of 36 coins. Pretty neat find, if I do say so!

looks like a micro version of a Shell gasoline token from back in the day

Well I tried to delete my reply but for technical difficulties, so I will say nice find!

I think you meant that it copies the design of the back of a Kennedy half. What an interesting find!
