I think you overpaid...by $3  :laughing7: :tongue3:

I found a couple that were listed on Ebay from 2007 and 2009, via Worthpoint.com but I don't know if they sold or not. I imagine it would sell, to either someone who wants to use it for target practice, or someone else who might place it on a throne to worship it. Takes all kinds!

It looks like they may be pretty rare as I can't find any other references to it other than someone joking about the Obama bobblehead, saying it looks like they took a Special Edition Jaundiced Rush Limbaugh Bobblehead from 1982 and painted some black hair on it to make the new Obama doll. Whether the 1982 part is a joke or factual I don't know. All you can do is list it and see what happens, if there is a real demand, you'll know soon enough. Sometimes rare doesn't mean valuable, and sometimes it does. Personally, I can't stand the guy.

not a good rendition of him...his mouth is closed!!...lolol i would put it on a political membrobilia listing.....it might get a hit....

I wouldn't ride with that thing in my car. That bobblehead could have an illegal stash of oxycontin in his desk.

Arf! Good one!

If people only knew the whole story surrounding that fiasco! From the actual charges that were filed (or should have been filed) to the plea deal he copped to for probation. He got off with less than a slap on the wrist. One more reason to hate this hypocrite. Another prime example of how big money buy your way out of darn near anything in this country, truly pathetic.

I'll give you $15 for it. I like it and him.

Benjamin Franklin was a drunken womanizer with a smart, loud mouth that hid behind pen names in his and other papers, but that's not what people remember 220 years later. It's how he affected politics that we remember.

They remember the bifocal.

Rush bought his way out of a felony drug conviction in Florida. how does that compare to Ben Franklin?

You really don't know? Just off the top of my head, Franklin did use drugs and prostitutes were very common in his life.... For all of his virtues, he was no saint.

i smoked a little weed....very common in my fellows that fought for democracy and our way of life in a little place in south east asia.but i haint run no kinda government......limbagh cant compare to me...we"re the same age and he run from the war...hes a big mouth know it all...he makes a livin from other peoples works and words....count how many times he says clinton on his three hour puke fest...he a fake so is his buddy beck...thanks i feel fully vented

Ben Franklin used a drug called Laudanum, which is made from opium. until the 20th century you could buy it without a prescription. children also used it. it was one of the most widely used drugs of that time. In case you're wondering what is was used for, headaches and sore throats.
this is from the Washington Post,
In court documents, investigators connected Limbaugh to 19 prescriptions for the drugs Lorcet, Norco and hydrocodone called in between April and August 2003. The prescriptions were issued by doctors in New York, Florida and California. According to medical records, Limbaugh's doctor in Palm Beach County was unaware of some of the other prescriptions.

Limbaugh was using prodigious amounts of the painkillers, according to the documents. In May 2003, a prescription for 50 tablets of Lorcet was filled for Limbaugh at the Zitomer Pharmacy on Madison Avenue in New York. The tablets were to be taken at a rate of two a day, and at that pace the prescription should have lasted 25 days. Three days later, a prescription was filled for Limbaugh at the same pharmacy for another 50 tablets. A third prescription for 96 tablets of Norco was filled about the same time at the Lewis Pharmacy in Palm Beach, according to the court documents.

I'm sorry, but no one should ever mention Ben Franklin and Rush Limbaugh in the same breath, even if the subject is opioids. To borrow a football term - Limbaugh couldn't even hold Franklin's jock strap.
