I think a lot of users are having trouble with their pics... I did see it when the pics were up and that's one of the best buckles I've seen! Keep posting candiver!

CanDiver, if you read this, please reconsider posting again and again etc. your posts give all us serious treasure hunters out there hope that there are still lots of awesome finds still waiting to be found. Try not to let negative comments influence your choice to post or not, your contributions inspire us all to look where others have not and embrace history on land or under the sea.

CanDiver....First I would like to give you a huge congrats and say that your buckle is a beauty. Second...I'm clueless on stuff this old and google is not helping much....is that bad boy brass or silver? Is it a rare buckle as far as British relics go? Crazy value?

Hello, Its is brass with a gilt finish. There are a few known examples found in North America. This one is by far the nicest example ever found. I found 2 other but they were in much worse shape.
