I apologize. I didn't bring it home, but placed it off the river. It's about 2 to 3ft long and about 1/2 in diameter. The larger diameter on I'll call bottom are 4 to 6in.
There Is an old railroad trestle really close to where I found it. The area also has rich native American history

Now your making me regret leaving it lol. I'm a agate hunter so I really didn't give it much thought, but with the history of that area it could end up being something really cool

The top of an old metal gas can that can be poured through its tube shaped straw like thing.

it's a bolt off of a timber bridge . made to bolt two timbers together. I've installed and removed thousands of those when I was on a bridge crew , one bridge often had over a thousand bolts. they were often dropped into the water and never retrieved. old but not collectable in my eyes.
