I think this year should be named - the 'deep plough year.' As luck would have it they have done a 9 inch turn on this site. Its still an ankle breaker but due to competition on this farm, I wanted to cherry pick until its disced down. It was a solo 3.5 hour hunt. Cru'Dad was busy but as it happen's its a waste of time for his Cortes & too risky with his injuries. This ones on me.

20 Roman Bronze Coins, good news is the biggie, hopefully its thrown up a Silver.

Oh that's some great looking Romans Cru. I'd do ankle twisting deep plough any day of the week for those results. Congratulations on the crisp biggy.

Glad you didn't turn your ankle. Just about died when I saw the lower left coin in the third picture. I found the same obverse, but a fallen horseman reverse in a tot lot several years ago.

It is when you have gridded the same site 3 times, it means its come up from depth.
