Roman land, 1 nice coin

I like the 2 Solider 1 Standard, as the Chi-Rho in banner is so clear, & more unusual than the normal type.

CRUSADER

Second coin reverse legend: GLORI-A EXER-CITVS / / SMTSA.
Reverse Description: Two soldiers standing facing, wearing military, each holding a spear and a shield reversed, in the middle two standards.
Reverse translation: Gloria Exercitus?, (The glory of the army)
Mint name : Macรฉdoine, Thessalonique (Macedonia, thessalonica)

I wonder if back in the day the coin was made they sold them in rolls at the bank and people would buy rolls to look through them. Nice coin.

No, its more 'like' a tombac metal. Its the bottom part of a bell.

Just thought I'd jump in since Cru may be out metal detecting under the bleachers at the British Open today.
Don......
No worries, just got back, the warmest day in awhile.

Thanks Don
